Last modified date

The latest edition of the Bachmann Times, the official magazine of the Bachmann Collectors Club started to arrive with our members last week and featured on the front cover is the latest limited edition club model – the N scale Diesel Shunter No. 878 ‘Basra’ in Longmoor Military Railway Blue livery (371-020K). Priced at £109.95, just 504 models have been produced and each includes a certificate of authenticity. This model is in stock now and Bachmann Collectors Club members can order theirs online or by calling the Club office on 01455 245565.

Along with the usual mix of news, modelling, historic and prototype articles, this edition includes a look at the 2019 Product Announcements, the next instalment of the Bachmann Story and we also crown the winners of our 2017/18 Photographic Competition.

Our Works Report section includes a first look at the highly anticipated Branchline Midland Class 1532 (1P)locomotives along with the first decorated sample of the Class 158 DMU. Those joining us at the London Festival of Railway Modelling at Alexandra Palace later this month will be the first to see these exciting new models in the flesh when they are displayed in the ‘Members Lounge’, where we also expect to have Engineering Prototypes of the Branchline 94xx and Graham Farish Refurbished Class 31s on display for the first time too!

Among the many benefits of Club membership, is discounted entry to a number of events during the year including the London Festival of Railway Modelling. Members can use the discount code provided with the Winter 2018 Bachmann Times and via our TrainMail E-Newsletter service to save when booking advance tickets for this event.
