Remembering D-Day 1944 – 2021

Last modified date

June 6th 1944 marked the beginning of Operation Overlord and the Battle of Normandy, with a colossal airborne offensive providing air support for the naval invasion force. Black and white recognition stripes hastily painted on allied aircraft minimised the risk of ‘friendly fire’ incidents. Our highly detailed D-Day series models all feature this distinctive marking.

The collection includes five models, which are fully assembled and painted with display stands included in the box .
