Latest Developments | New Samples for OO9 Scale
In the Autumn 2022 edition of the Bachmann Times – the official magazine of the Bachmann Collectors Club – we revealed the Livery Samples for the stunning new Bachmann Narrow Gauge OO9 Scale RNAD Wagons, and we’re delighted to share these with you here.
With no fewer than eight models, each carrying its own authentic livery, these new wagons are sure to make a popular addition to any Narrow Gauge collection when they arrive in early-2023. Covering four distinct wagon types: Opens, Flats, Vans and Brake Vans, models are offered in both original RNAD condition and after they entered private ownership, with several versions depicting wagons that have been preserved and are now operated by the Statfold Barn Railway.
We’ve even more Narrow Gauge developments to share with you this Autumn as the OO9 scale Gloucester Bogie Coach has now reached the Engineering Prototype (EP) stage and we’re sure you will agree, it’s shaping up very nicely indeed. Two versions will be available initially, in the Crimson livery of the Ashover Light Railway and the Blue and Cream scheme of the Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway.
As is always the case, our Research & Development Team have been over both the RNAD livery samples and Gloucester Bogie Coach EPs with a fine-tooth comb and have identified some areas which can be improved further, or that require some small changes to be made, but we’re sure you will agree these are already shaping up very nicely indeed!
