‘City of Truro’ Class 47 – Sales Area Exclusive

Last modified date

2018 see’s the continuation of our OO Branchline area sales representatives exclusive models, which are only available from Bachmann stockists in their areas. One such model is the Class 47 No. 47625 ‘City of Truro’ in BR Blue livery (31-655TL).

Built as D1660, the locomotive emerged from Crewe Works in 1965 in the then new two-tone green livery. Over the next 50 years of work, it received another three running numbers along with four different livery variations. The locomotive can still be seen working today for Colas Rail under its latest number 47749.

Our model depicts the locomotive during the mid-1980s where it carried the name ‘City of Truro’ while being in the BR Blue livery. The model will link up perfectly with many of our main range OO items, such as 32-035B Class 20 (No. 20174 in BR Blue), 32-781B Class 37 (No. 37041 in BR Blue) and 32-534DS Class 55 (No. 55004 ‘Queens Own Highlander’ in BR Blue with sound) amongst others.

Due for release Spring 2018, you can pre-order this model exclusively from Bachmann retailers in the following areas:

  • Bath & East Somerset
  • Cornwall
  • Devon
