Class 37/0 No. 37032 emerged from Crewe Works in July 1987 carrying the Railfreight Red Stripe livery following overhaul. No. 37032 would be one of the last Class 37s to carry this livery following overhaul, as in October 1987 the then new Railfreight Triple Grey livery was implemented by BR.

By the time No. 37032 received the hand painted name ‘Mirage’ and the Tinsley emblem in October 1992, its Railfreight Red Stripe livery was well-worn and weathered and this condition is replicated on the Bachmann model.

When No. 37032 became unserviceable it was stored at Tinsley and was subsequently sold for preservation. It has now been restored to ‘as built’ condition as No. D6732 carrying BR Green livery and can be found running on the North Norfolk Railway.

Each of our Area Sales Representatives have commissioned specific models to be produced for them which are only available from stockists within their geographical area. Details of the areas from which each model is available can be found in the relevant news story.
