Bachmann Collectors Club 2025 Members Day

Last modified date

This year’s Bachmann Collectors Club Members Day saw us head to Scotland as we were hosted by the delightful Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway. The action-packed day included the usual blend of train rides and behind the scenes tours, along with the launch of a brand new Branchline OO scale model of the Caledonian Railway 439 Class 0-4-4T.

LEFT: Gary Doig and Ellie Harvey welcome the first Club members to Bo’ness station as the Members Day got underway.

RIGHT: The first train of the day, hauled by BR Class 4MT 2-6-4T No. 80105, awaits departure from Bo’ness. Club members had their own coach.

LEFT: The ‘Practically Perfect’ Sale was held at Bo’ness and proved hugely popular, with Club members bagging many Bachmann bargains.

RIGHT: Class 439 No. 15189 was rolled out exclusively for BCC members in its brand new LMS Crimson Lake livery. A preservation first!

LEFT: As is now tradition, the Members Day included behind the scenes tours of the railway, including a chance to explore the main steam shed.

RIGHT: Diesel enthusiasts were not left disappointed either, with the tours taking in the SRPS diesel depot, as well as the carriage workshops.

The Bachmann Collectors Club would like to extend its thanks to the Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway and Scottish Railway Preservation Society for hosting us, and to all of the volunteers who gave their time to make the day such a success. Keep an eye out on our website for details on future events.
