Bachmann Collectors Club launch new Limited Edition models during Practically Perfect Sale event

Members of the Bachmann Collectors Club were invited to the Great Central Railway’s Quorn & Woodhouse Station today for the Club’s second ‘Practically Perfect Sale’. This club-exclusive event gives members the opportunity to purchase refurbished and repaired models from the Bachmann railway ranges at exceptional prices and those attending were also treated to news of two new limited edition models, both of which were on sale during the event and are available now.

Class 37/5 Refurbished No. 37501 ‘Teesside Steelmaster’

First is a new addition to the N scale diesel locomotive line-up with Class 37/5 Refurbished No. 37501 ‘Teesside Steelmaster’. Carrying the attractive and unique light blue livery with BR double arrows and British Steel and Teesrail logos, No. 37501 also features the colourful Thornaby depot Kingfisher motif. Based on the highly regarded Graham Farish Class 37/5, features of this new model include directional lighting (including the high-intensity headlight), a 6 Pin DCC decoder socket, NEM coupling pockets and an accessory pack. The perfect partner to the recently released Sales Area Exclusive model of No. 37502 ‘British Steel Teesside’ (371-167TL), with which No. 37501 was often seen operating in the North East during the 1980s, this new Bachmann Collectors Club model is limited to just 504 certificated pieces and you can order yours now, priced at £154.95.

BR Mk2F Refurbished DBSO No. 9705 DRS Compass

In OO scale, the Bachmann Collectors Club’s range of DRS Compass liveried BR Mk2F Coaches has been expanded with the launch of a Refurbished Driving Brake Second Open (DBSO) in this striking livery. Models of the Refurbished DBSO were unveiled for the Bachmann Branchline main range in the Spring 2022 British Railway Announcements, and this forms the basis of this new club model in the much-requested DRS Compass livery. Featuring a wealth of detail highlighted by the exquisite livery application, there are plenty of lighting features which are controlled via the integrated DCC decoder, making these models ready for use on both Analogue and DCC straight out of the box. Only 1,000 certificated pieces have been produced, priced at £149.95 each, these can be ordered now.

For those unable to attend the Practically Perfect Sale, orders can be placed online via www.bachmann-collectorsclub.co.uk. New members can also join online and purchase from the growing range of Club exclusive models straight away.
