Exclusive Class 31 Signals A New Era for Bachmann Collectors Club Limited Edition Model Range

As part of the Autumn 2024 British Railway Announcements, the Bachmann Collectors Club today revealed its latest exclusive models, headlined by Class 31/1 No. 31190 ‘Gryphon’ in West Coast Railways Maroon livery.

The Class 31 utilises the brand new OO Scale tooling from Bachmann Branchline and will be available in three formats, including SOUND FITTED DELUXE variants which feature Bachmann’s ground breaking Auto-Release Coupling System, offering hands-free DCC uncoupling. All three versions will be available during August and are priced to members at £179.95 (item No. 35-820K), £278.95 (35-820KSF) and £323.95 (35-820KSFX), each representing a saving of 10% against the standard RRP for a main range equivalent.

In N Scale the Bachmann Collectors Club has taken advantage of the recently completed Graham Farish Anchor Mounted Tank Wagon tooling to offer a model of ‘Regent’ No. 20 in the striking silver and red colour scheme. Again, Club members receive a 10% discount on these wagons and pay just £26.95 per wagon (378-000K), or a further saving can be enjoyed by purchasing four wagons for £100.00 (378-000K4).

With Bachmann Collectors Club members now enjoying a minimum 10% discount as standard on the entire range of club-exclusive models, Bachmann today announced that the full range of club models would be made available on general sale, however with pricing for non-members being at the higher, full recommended retail price. The club range can be shopped now at www.clubmodels.co.uk, whilst new and existing members should purchase through www.bachmann-collectorsclub.co.uk to benefit from the lower member prices.

Talking about this new development, Richard Proudman, Rail Brand Manager for Bachmann Europe Plc said: “In all my time with Bachmann the Collectors Club has either been my main focus or a fair part of it, and I’ve come to know many of our cherished members well. One request that I’ve heard repeated throughout that time has been that we reward member’s loyalty to the Bachmann Collectors Club by offering club models at a reduced price so after starting that process with new releases since last Autumn, I am glad that we’ve now expanded this benefit across the entire club range.

Richard continued: “I also know that members do not like to see club models sold outside of the club network, which has sometimes been necessary when we’ve had to make way for new items coming into stock. By offering the club range to a larger audience, some of whom may prefer not to benefit from the additional incentives that club membership offers, we hope to avoid that situation whilst at the same time offering members more value for money and a further enhancement to their membership package.

Alongside the attractive member prices for the range of club models, membership to the Bachmann Collectors Club provides a host of other benefits including a subscription to the quarterly Bachmann Times Magazine, every copy of the British Railway Announcements Catalogue, and the chance to attend free days out with like-minded members and the Bachmann team. What’s more, Bachmann Collectors Club members enjoy a 2-year warranty on Bachmann Branchline, Graham Farish, Bachmann Narrow Gauge and Thomas & Friends™ models – including club models.
