An Accolade for EFE
We are pleased to announce that our Exclusive First Editions model of the E12311 Harrington Grenadier in Maidstone & District NBC livery has won 1st place in the ‘Public Service’ category of the Diecast Collectors Awards 2017! Furthermore, our model E23406 a Bedford TK truck in British Railways livery also got an honourable mention in the ‘HGV, Vans & Pickup Trucks’ category.
Maidstone & District became part of the National Bus Company (NBC) on 1st January 1969. Our latest release depicts a Harrington Grenadier registration FKL 126D, fleet No. 4163 shown working on route E7 to Bournemouth and displaying the clean new green and white NBC livery.
Our latest Bedford TK is modelled on one of the British Rails many road vehicles used for the cartage of parcels to and from the railway network. Registered 423 PRO, cab numbered 5871 BO M and is depicted carrying a green tarpaulin covered load.
