A favourite amongst children and adult collectors, our large scale Thomas & Friends range is a great way to bring the Isle of Sodor to your home. The collection offers a wide variety of your favourite engines, rolling stock and people, with a number of them having features such as moving eyes and sound.
Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends was first aired in the UK back in 1984 and was based on books written by Reverend Wilbert Awdry for his son, Christopher. Since their first appearance on television Thomas and his friends have gone on to feature in nearly 500 episodes. With help from attractions such as Drayton Manor Theme Park’s ‘Thomas Land’ and the many heritage railways that hold ‘Days out with Thomas’, there has never been a better time to get into Thomas & Friends railway modelling.

We also offer the versatile Large Scale Thomas & Friends Sound Module (44958) which can be fitted and configured to Thomas (91401), Percy (91402), James (91403), Emily (91404), and Toby (91405) – the module is dual mode so can be used on both DCC and analogue systems. Furthermore, the sound package includes the appropriate whistle, bell, chuff and cylinder blow-down to give each character the distinctive sounds we all know and love.
