A new era dawns for Bachmann Europe

Last modified date

On Monday 20th January 2020, a new era dawned for Bachmann Europe with the launch of the Model Railway Combined Volume 2020. Bringing together our extensive range of British-outline models, the Combined Volume features items from Graham Farish, Bachmann Narrow Gauge, Bachmann Branchline, Thomas & Friends, Scenecraft and other complementary products which are available to purchase from Bachmann retailers, or have been included in previous catalogues for delivery at a future date. The Combined Volume does not include any unseen re-livery or new tooling products.

Bachmann Europe’s Managing Director, David Haarhaus said: “In response to customer and consumer feedback, we have taken steps to reduce the lead time between the announcement and release of new products. Working with our colleagues at Kader, real progress has been made in the latter half of 2019 to release many of the outstanding items announced several years ago. Last year 13 new tooling projects were released by ourselves, plus more than 200 re-liveried or modified models and a further six Limited Edition models produced exclusively for members of the Bachmann Collectors Club. When our non-railway ranges are taken into consideration, it is easy to see how Bachmann releases more than one new item for every day of the year and this volume shall increase as we travel through these next years.”

New products will now be announced in the quarterly British Railway Announcements supplement that will be supplied with the Bachmann Times, the official magazine of the Bachmann Collectors Club. The Spring 2020 Bachmann Times, complete with the first edition of British Railway Announcements, will be published at the start of February and the new products featured will all be released within three months of announcement.
