Product Highlight: N Scale LMS Ivatt 2MT 2-6-0 Tender Locomotives

Last modified date

Graham Farish may be the smallest of Bachmann Europe’s railway brands in terms of physical scale, but the range is growing massively in terms of the number of models that are being released over the next few months. The 2023 Summer British Railway Announcements from a few weeks ago contained more than 100 new items for N scale from Graham Farish alone.

Among these items are the return of the LMS Ivatt 2MT 2-6-0 tender locomotive to the range. All of these new Ivatt 2MT models have been upgraded when compared to previous releases and share the following features:

  • Accessory Pack
  • NEM Coupling Pockets
  • Powerful Coreless Motor
  • Loco-drive Mechanism
  • Tender Pick-ups
  • Speaker Fitted
  • Equipped with a Next18 DCC Decoder Socket – Recommend Decoder item No. 36-567A

All of these models come in both a standard version and a SOUND FITTED version. The SOUND FITTED models are pre-fitted with a Zimo MS590N18 Sound Decoder that has been programmed with an exclusive sound project containing over 25 functions.

The SOUND FITTED models are also suitable for use on most analogue (DC) controlled layouts, where normal load running and acceleration sounds will play appropriately when power is applied, along with many other automatic and randomised sounds.
